Cervical Cancer Mukt Bharat

Introduction
Cervical cancer is a major public health concern in India, with an estimated 96,922 new cases and 60,078 deaths reported in 2018 alone. It is the second most common cancer among women in India, with a mortality rate of 14.7 per 100,000 women. To address this issue, the Indian government launched the Cervical Cancer Mukt Bharat (Cervical Cancer Free India) mission in 2020. This mission aims to eliminate cervical cancer as a public health problem in the country by 2070. In this article, we will explore the causes, impact, and measures taken to address this issue.
